Paediatric Nursing

Patients in the pediatric age range are attended to by pediatric nurses. They collaborate closely with other medical specialists, including pediatricians, family physicians, and other nurses, to offer both acute and preventive treatment. Regular developmental screenings, "well child" exams, vaccination delivery, and the identification and treatment of common children ailments like tonsillitis, chickenpox, and ear infections are typical tasks. In addition, pediatric nurses maintain close relationships with the families of their patients, teaching them the importance of health during a child's development and raising awareness of matters that are critical to a child's well-being, including growth and development, disease prevention, and appropriate nutrition.
