Dental Nursing

Dental nurses assist dentists in providing patient care. They assist in setting up the dental procedure and make sure that the workspace and all associated equipment are sterile. Dental nurses assist dentists with examinations and treatments by doing duties like checking on patients' comfort, documenting observations made by the dentist, passing instruments, suctioning away saliva and debris from the patient's mouth, preparing materials for fillings, sterilizing instruments, and following infection control protocols. An essential component of the dental nurse's job is ensuring the health and safety of both patients and staff.
