Emergency and Catastrophe The role that nursing plays in local and global emergency preparedness and catastrophe management. The role in planning, partnerships, disaster response, and service delivery are among the areas of emphasis. They will contribute to the creation of a strategy that covers the fundamentals of nursing leadership and management for disaster preparation, response, and recovery; Regarding the safe hospital index and the idea of a safe hospital amid a tragedy; examine methods for funding the training of nurses in catastrophe awareness in both domestic and foreign contexts; assess the tools available to improve the nursing workforce's disaster-resilience; determine the points at which a community's resilience is weakened and the steps required to restore it; Examine the conflicting concerns of extended practice scope, core competencies, and ethical recognize the unique needs of vulnerable populations in disaster scenarios; consider the usefulness of adopting a disaster research framework for a research study of a mass casualty catastrophe; and apply practice in the context of response for nurses.
