Biography
Prof. Hamdan Mansour has completed his PhD in Nursing in 2004 from the University of Pittsburgh, PA/USA. Currently, he is a professor of psychiatric nursing at School of Nursing, The University of Jordan. Has more 25 years of experience in psychiatric nursing education and research. Area of research focus is mental health promotion, substance use disorder, psychosomatic disorders, mental health and psychosocial wellbeing, youth mental health, community mental health, and women and child abuse. Has several national and international research awards and recognitions and served as consultant for several national projects related to community health development, mental health and psychosocial health. Has published more than 150 peer-reviewed articles and been keynote speaker in number of national and international mental health conferences.
